Bayleaf Consultations are available via our Clinic in the Cloud. You can undertake your consultation via online or telephone from the comfort of your own home or workplace and minimise travel and waiting room times.
Medical and health treatments can be provided using videoconference and teleconference but do have some limitations. Given the nature of the consultation, some may not be appropriate for e-health and require a face to face consultation.
In Australia, there is no specific legislation regarding
e-health however the general principles of privacy, consent, disclosure and duty of care apply. Given your specific health care requirements, your practitioner may suggest a face to face consultation is required or refer you to another practitioner for follow-up care.
How does Clinic in the Cloud differ from the Bayleaf Wellness benefits?
There is no difference between a consultation via Bayleaf or Clinic in the Cloud. Clinic in the Cloud is our telehealth or online platform. Online consultations are undertaken via our practice software and are approved, confidential and secure. All benefits and access to all services and the Wellness Team is the same. The only difference is in the delivery mode of the scheduled consultation. Clinic in the Cloud is via online or telephone delivery and Bayleaf is face to face appointments at the clinic. You will be prompted to choose which way you would like to undertake the consultation at the time of booking and we will contact you after booking to explain how we can set this up with you if you require assistance.
